Our Mission

The mission of the Helping Hands Outreach organization is to assist those who are experiencing hardship throughout the greater Bridgeport community. To assist with food, clothing, shelter, bereavement and emotional support. To provide transitional help to those reentering society from prison.

To establish collaborative relationships within the community at large that will demonstrate a caring, supportive environment that assists in personal growth and development.

About our Clientele

Many of the clients that HHO serves are of low income with some low to middle income that are employed, but live from paycheck to paycheck. When a crisis arises it depletes their budgeted monies and they must rob Peter to pay Paul. Some work in the medical field as CNAs or assistants and when they are between clients they are not eligible for unemployment and fall behind on the financial obligations
